Miley is my special girl.

In 2007, my parents and a close friend took me to get a puppy as a surprise after my boyfriend was killed in a traffic accident.

Milo and Otis are our special "boys."
 
We found them, as kittens, on Petfinders.com in May of 2002.  They are from a litter of five, and all five looked identical in the face.  It was so cute when we went to pick them out — all five little faces peering at us, out of their enclosure, at once!

I am one of the receptionists at Westside, and Bridgette's new chapter in life began with me back in May of 2010.  Bridgette is a 3-year-old Dachshund mix.  She has a wonderful personality, is very smart, and loves everyone — especially children and other animals.  She had been brought into Westside to be euthanized due to her uncontrolled urinating all over her owner's home.
